Anne Sheffer, a businesswoman, ordained minister, and former teacher, presently serves as Accounts Payable and Office Manager for Sheffer Monhollen & Tackett, PLLC. She is married to senior partner Ronald Sheffer, her high school and college sweetheart. Over a period of thirty-five years Anne earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University and graduate degrees from the University of Kentucky, Murray State University and Vanderbilt University. Though these have served her well in six diverse careers, she readily admits experience has always been her best teacher.
Fortunate to begin traveling in her early teens, Anne still relishes her many adventures and remembers with fondness the places and people she visited. Though dedicated to family and career while engaged in numerous community and church activities, Anne always made time for cooking and baking, reading and music, gardening, flower arranging and daily walks, but especially spending time with her family and a few close friends.
Anne trained dogs for several years, among them her beloved Rottweiler, Kate, but she later turned her attention to breeding and racing thoroughbred horses. Among her most cherished possessions are two oil paintings of her favorite equine, one as a winning racehorse and the other as a mare in foal. Long considered a ‘family member,’ this treasured thoroughbred was only a yearling when Ronnie gave her to Anne as a surprise. Other prized collectibles in Anne’s home are bridles worn by each of her thoroughbreds and family items from her mother.
Anne and Ron have three grown children (two sons and a daughter) and seven grandchildren (five grandsons and two granddaughters, ranging in age from 6 to 26).
