Laura T. Morgan, a Louisville native, has worked as a paralegal since 1994, bringing more than 20 years as a professional litigation paralegal with senior status. Laura has worked successfully with both plaintiff and defense attorneys, expanding her experience in complex litigation with hospitals, physicians, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. She also aids in file and medical records review, theory of liability, and case preparation from claim assignment to trial.
A guest speaker in Continuing Nursing Education hosted by various hospitals throughout the state, Laura has made several presentations on the nurse’s role in medical malpractice. She completed three years of study at Murray State University before earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies at Sullivan University.
Laura has been married to Darren Morgan, Corporate Engineering Manager at Zeon Chemicals in Louisville, for 25 years. They have two grown children, Nathaniel and Elizabeth. Nathaniel recently graduated from University of Kentucky as a chemical engineer and currently works in Verona, Wisconsin. Elizabeth attends Ohio State University as an Eminence Scholar studying microbiology.
When not working or traveling to spend time with their children, Laura and Darren are at Lake Cumberland enjoying time on their boat, along with their dog, Miller.
