Rebecca Brown, “Becky” to family, friends, and co-workers, is the Accounts Receivable manager for Sheffer Monhollen & Tackett, PLLC, bringing more than 43 years of combined business experience to the job of preparing statements and serving as the billing contact for all clients. She routinely provides important financial information to the attorneys, the Accounts Payable Manager, and the firm CPA.
Becky served 20 years as an office and branch manager for Houghton International, a global chemical firm. She subsequently founded and helmed as CEO the entrepreneurial enterprise Hygo-Tech Inc., a female-owned business specializing in unique “hands-free” commercial bathroom products utilized throughout Kentucky and Indiana. Eventually selling her company to a business partner, she did not seek early retirement but rather began a new career with the Sheffer family, initially in their restaurant businesses and later with their law firms.
Becky is married to fellow Louisville native Bob Brown, himself a man of ongoing multiple careers, has two grown children and four grandchildren. Bob and Becky enjoy traveling, cooking, and especially entertaining family and friends at their home on the Ohio River.
